Underground Services Locating
The accuracy of locating services is very important to us and our customers. Trenchless Pipelaying have ‘Certloc’ accredited service locators with a number of vehicles fully equipped with the latest technology to cater to your underground service locating requirements.
TPC can provide fully GPS surveyed data or photo packs on completion of works.
Horizontal Directional Drilling in Clay & Rock
Trenchless Pipelaying Contractors have been performing Horizontal Directional Drilling for over 25 years in Australia we have a large range of drilling equipment including clay and rock drills and all of the required electronic locating instruments to accurately track drill path whilst undertaking drilling.
TPC can also offer bore profile design as part of our services.
Our work crews are long term employees with many years of experience working on directional drills.
Hydro Excavation and Non-Destructive Digging
Non-Destructive Digging, also called Hydro Excavation makes use of high-pressure water and vacuum to safely excavate soil that is found around underground utilities. Whilst traditional excavation still has its role in construction, many clients are now understanding the benefits of using Non-Destructive Digging on their projects.
Trenchless Pipelaying Contractors operate a large fleet of Vacuum Excavation and Water Jetting trucks in South Australia.
Civil Works, Trenching & Pit & Pipe installations
TPC have multiple civil crews that are experienced in trenching, excavation, Installation of conduits and Pits across the electrical and communications industries.
TPC also hold an asbestos licence for the removal & repair of asbestos pit & duct.
TPC offer relocation services for assets that are required to be moved due to project impacts or development requirements.
TPC own and operate a large range of excavators, skid steer loaders, trucks & specialist equipment to service our client’s needs.
Rock Sawing & Chain Trenching
TPC own and operate the latest Ditch witch and Vermeer Rock Saw & Trenching machines here in South Australia. Rock saw and chain trenching are essential excavation methods used in utility and infrastructure projects where precise and efficient trenching is required through hard ground conditions. Rock saws, equipped with diamond-tipped or carbide blades, are ideal for cutting through solid rock, asphalt, or reinforced concrete with minimal disruption to surrounding areas. Chain trenchers, on the other hand, use a continuous chain fitted with cutting teeth to excavate narrow and deep trenches, making them highly efficient in softer or mixed ground conditions.
Traffic Management
TPC can provide their own in-house Traffic Management which enables us to provide flexibility and cost-effective solutions for their clients.
Effective traffic management not only helps prevent accidents and delays but also ensures compliance with local regulations and standards. Proper planning and execution are essential to protect both the public and project personnel throughout the duration of the works.
Cable Hauling
TPC have two fully equipped hauling crews operating in South Australia. Our crews are experienced in hauling Telecommunications and Electrical Services Cabling through Pit and Duct Conduit Networks.
Our supervised crews are experienced in hauling cabling through occupied carrier networks to ensure that damage to existing services is prevented. TPC also conduct pipe proving exercises on existing conduits to ensure that new cabling can be installed via mandrel testing of the conduit capacity.
If in the event conduits are blocked, then TPC can mobilise one of our Vacuum Excavation trucks to undertake blockage clearing and repairs.
